Area Training Camp (for Secondary 2 Cadets)
The NPCC cadets got their first opportunity to bond and learn together through the annual unit camp which took place in Term 1, Week 10. The unit camp allows cadets to develop strong teamwork and camaraderie among members of the unit through group activities, challenges, and tasks that require collaboration and trust. The camp experience, with its structured routines and physical activities, helps instill discipline and mental resilience in cadets, preparing them for challenges both in and outside the NPCC.
The annual 3-day 2-nights camp Adventure Training Camp (ATC) at Pulau Ubin’s Camp Resilience is one of the highlights for Secondary 2 cadets. In achieving its objectives in building resilience among its campers, Camp Resilience encourages outdoor activities, ranging from obstacle courses to sea activities, to allow the cadets to enjoy an outdoor experiential learning during their stay and also work together with their teammates when overcoming obstacles such as the low ropes and high ropes challenge.
