Service Above Self
Dunman Secondary School’s Interact Club is a fun, meaningful and compassionate club where we make significant impact on others through our projects both locally and internationally.
The aim of our Interact Club is to extend a helping hand to those in need. Our main focus is on community based projects where we reach out to communities in need so that we can volunteer our time to help those who are from less privileged homes.
We further serve the community by working together with the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs in a number of their local and international projects. In conjunction with our Golden Jubilee celebrations in 2013, the Interact Club painted murals at Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled and travelled to Siem Reap, Cambodia to help the less fortunate.
In addition to our community involvement projects, we also help our Dunman community by raising funds for fellow Dunmanites who face financial difficulties.
We undergo training sessions such as puppetry, story-telling, jewellery making and leadership courses so that Interactors can pick up the necessary skills to carry out various projects that can aid the community.
We hope to continue to serve the community through inspiring those around us to join us in our effort to touch hearts and change lives.
